Deb Hunter

Collaborator

Deb’s career journey started in the world of manufacturing, managing inventory and production before transitioning into sales and bathroom design, where she worked with contractors and homeowners. These opportunities reinforced the importance of providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Her transition into human resources marked a pivotal point in her career—building the HR function from the ground up for a fast-growing company that expanded from zero to 300 employees in just one year. Recognizing her passion for this type of work, Deb replicated this success at another start-up, helping scale the team to 1,500 employees across 75 locations in three years. She subsequently joined a consulting firm where she launched the HR service area, working with businesses across diverse industries. This experience led to her role at Indiana Electric Cooperatives, providing HR support internally and to cooperative members throughout the region until she founded her own consulting practice. Today, she partners with organizations to strengthen culture, attract and retain talent, and align people strategies with business goals. Her work reflects a commitment to helping leaders and teams grow, engage, and thrive.
